2000 - present-day
Important events:2001: On 1 January 2001 and in compliance with § 5 of Act No. 219/2000 Coll. regulating the possessions of the Czech Republic and its action in legal relations, the legal status of Geofond CR changed to an organisational body of the state.
2002: On 1 April 2002, the name Geofond was changed to Czech Geological Survey - Geofond by Act No. 2/02 of the Ministry of the Environment in compliance with § 17 of the Act No. 62/1988 Coll.
